A Brief Introduction.

I am Li Yuliang and you can call me Lyrance too. Coming from a small city called Dongying, currently studying MSc Robotics at the University of Manchester. My primary interest lies in the interdisciplinary field between software/computer science and the design/implementation/validation of robotics.

I have knowledge of a range of programming languages and am able to develop software independently.

I learnt machine learning, deep learning and reinforcement learning. I can use libraries such as tensorflow, pytorch and am familiar with python.

I was previously an Azure network engineer and am well versed in network architecture and troubleshooting.

Photography

It probably originated in junior high school, when I borrowed my physics teacher's camera to take pictures at school. Later, I joined the Photography Association in high school, but at that time I used the cameras of my family or classmates to take pictures. It was not until the university period that I got a camera in the true sense of my own, a Sony a6400. Later, I slowly saved money and collected a lot of lenses. I began to take film photos on 2021, both 135 and 120. In order to reduce costs, I learned to divide the film and develop it myself. Introduced by an "elderly master" at an event, I became a member of the Qingdao Youth Photographers Association. Now and in the future, I prefer to use small cameras (such as Insta360go3, GoPro etc.) to record the bits and pieces of life, as well as shooting from drones, FPV and other perspectives.

Cook

I truly love life, whether it be from photography, cooking or music etc. During the epidemic period, when I took online classes at home, I cooked and ate by myself at home every day, and slowly exercised. I refer to the video online, and slowly figure out how to cook. Now, I can cook at the family dinner during the Chinese New Year.

Tea

I have studied tea for a period of time, and have tasted all the high-end and low-end teas that can be tasted within the scope of my ability. I have a general impression of the flavors of various teas, and I know what kind of tea I like. I only drink tea because it tastes good, and I refuse a series of teas that are uncomfortable such as bitter charcoal, and I cannot appreciate this type of tea. I also can't appreciate the bitterness of coffee, the high number of alcohol.

Hardware

Maybe I should be called "Tuba Garbage Guy". In fact, the source is the concept of "poor support" in the past, and I didn't have much money when I was a student, which led me to always pursue the ultimate cost-effectiveness. Later, I like to watch various disassembly videos and maintenance videos. I think I have a strong ability to do it myself, and I have disassembled and installed countless things since I was a child. My sense of accomplishment comes from the fact that I can see that what I'm working on is working stably and normally, and preferably a physical object in front of me.

Digital Product Enthusiast

I have been interested in new technology since I was a child, and I have been interested in various electronic devices since the iPod Nano6 that my mother bought me. I am very interested in fresh products, and I have been in Kuan Forum and Xianyu for many years. I am very interested in new and innovative products, whether they are the latest products or years old. When I buy electronics, I know what I need, and I'm happy to pay for performance/look/experience, rejecting so-called patriotism.

Creation

As you may have noticed here, I prefer to record. Whether it is through text, pictures or video, it is my favorite way to record life. From the dull-headed candidates who couldn't hold back hundreds of words in composition in the exam-oriented education, now I can easily bring my opinions, my thoughts, and my stories to others through tens of thousands of words. Of course, these articles are only spread on a small scale for the time being.

Game

I'm a gamer, but I don't play mobile games that people like so much. I love well-crafted games, and I'm more than happy to pay for it, whether it's great gameplay or graphics. I am very disgusted with the current Chinese game industry taking out shoddy games to make money. Currently a Switch player, Steam/Epic player, Oculus Quest2 player, a Xbox player, and may purchase a PlayStation in the future.

Home Lab | Server

From the time of the epidemic, I got a dual-disk small host and turned it into a NAS, and it was out of control. Later I upgraded it to an E3 cpu, installed Esxi, and installed all kinds of things I need to use. My dream is to buy a cabinet and install a high-performance server without considering power consumption and noise. In fact, I think the computer in the future should look like a remote desktop, right?

Planting

I like flowers and plants, and I like to keep fish, mainly because it is very comfortable to look at, and I can stare at it for a while. And I had been occupying the table on the balcony of the dormitory to grow flowers, grass and turtles during university period.

I am a B-level HAM, and I may take the C-level certificate in the future. I play both UV and HF, call sign BI4PMV.
